Before one can qualify for an adoption, there is specific minimum criteria one must prove.  We won't let one of our puppies go to just anyone.  Do you think you are willing to make a life long commitment for this canine companion?  Then you might be ready. 

We care, therefore we require the following (minimum)

1st: The dog or bitch will be treated as a member of the family.  They will not be abused or subjected to any illegal activity (illegal racing, fighting, or anything of the sort).

2nd: If you EVER decide you don't want the canine, can't maintain the canine (financially or otherwise), or whatever the case may be, we require the dog be given back to us <period>.  Call us, and we will work with you to get the dog from your house back to ours! If someone doesn't do this, then we will obtain the dog at the expense of the owner.  All of our Whippets have their DNA cataloged with the AKC. 

3rd: You must have a yard with a fence that is at least 6ft in height (standard size).  These aren't large dogs, but they do need a place they can roam free without a lead.   

4th: An adoption contract.  This isn't just a legally binding bill of sale, this is a live animal contract which specifies all of the above criteria, and slightly more.

After reading this, if you aren't willing to commit to all of the above possibilities, then I recommend you find another breeder.  These puppies are extremely special, selectively breed, and are warm loving creatures. If you were in our position, I would sincerely hope you would require the same.
